Continue from : Baby Booties for Baby H! – Part 1.
Was really filled with excitement when I completed the booties and quickly texted SL for an appropriate time to visit mama and baby. Got the address of the confinement centre and appropriate timing for a visit. Hooray! So charged up and ready for the delivery……….
Poof! My plan went off tangent, I was down with sore throat, flu, fever for few days. I quickly text SL for a change of time. Little did I know, the flu lingered on for almost 2 weeks before full recovery. Would never risk going for a visit with lingering flu… By the time I recovered, Baby H had already return home from the confinement centre. Time flies!
As I was planning for a suitable change of date, place and time…. I couldn’t ignore the instinct and whisper in my head to ask SL for Baby H’s feet measurement – having a custom-made pair would definitely be a better choice. And so..I did.. I blow the surprise and texted SL for the measurement and choice of colour! Send her some ready made booties picture with different colour choices and finally the creation of “Minty Green booties” specially made for Baby H!
Made 2 matching Minty green headband, one decorated with white crochet flower and green rose and the other with pink crochet flower. Decorated the both with ribbon and stickers and caligraphy of the name by Baby A – ready to be delivered.
Delivery day – 29/10/19 – Baby is 55 days old! Mama and baby both healthy and happy! So glad to have the catch up and hope the booties and headband will serve Baby H well!
