It was just another quiet afternoon that I treasure when DH at work and ABC in school. I would normally skip lunch or have something really lite – sandwich or cereal. However, as I was watching “Jason can’t cook” programme on Netflix….BANG! Immediately I craved for Spaghetti…Couldn’t resist the temptation to prepare something for myself. Quickly scanned through my fridge and found some ingredients and cooking mode is ON!
Less than 45 minutes, I’m slurping away feeling satisfied! Yummmmy! Especially the combination fragrant from the olive oil and garlic! BURP! Oophs! 😂
Recipe as follows :
Ingredients
- A bunch of spaghetti between your thumb and forefinger (approx. 60g)
- 3tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
- 5 slices of young ginger (can be omitted if you don’t like ginger)
- 1 tbsp parsley
- Bird’s eye chilli (quantity depends on preference)
- Sliced carrot
- Seafood – prawn, squid and fish ball/slices
- Tomato, diced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Method of preparation
- Boil spaghetti in salted water
- Heat olive oil in a pan and add garlic and ginger. Saute in low heat until fragrant.
- Add carrot and stir fry for a minute
- Add seafood (prawn, squid, fish ball/slices) and cook for few minutes.
- Add in diced tomato and bird’s eye chilli as much as you prefer ^.^
- Add in the pasta and stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
- Add pasley, salt, pepper and serve immediately.
