Today is first day of MCO 2.0. I’m challenging myself to do an Amigurumi a day and hope to gather 14 Amigurumi by Day14 of MCO 2.0.

Items required for this crochet patterns as attached below :
Utensils Required
- 3 colours yarns – Blue, Yellow and white (4 ply Milk Cotton Yarn)
- Crochet hook – 4mm
- Needle & stitch marker
- Scissors
- Toy stuffing (can be substitute with the leftover yarn)
- Safety eyes (6mm)
- Ring key chain (optional)

Crochet Patterns as follows :
For absolute beginner, you may refer to Video clip “How to Single Crochet for Absolute Beginner”
Eyes patch – make 2 (with white yarn)
Row 1 : MR6
Row 2 : 2sc in each sts. (12)
yarn off and leave a long tail for sewing
Make belly (white yarn)
Row 1 : MR6
Row 2 : 2sc in each sts. (12)
Row 3 : [sc,inc] x 6 (18)
Row 4 : [2sc, inc] x 6 (24)
yarn off and leave a long tail for sewing
Bill/beak (yellow yarn)
Row 1 : MR6
Row 2 : 2sc in each sts. (12)
yarn off and leave a long tail for sewing.
fold in half and sew the side up before assemble.
Feet – make 2 (yellow yarn)
Row 1 : MR6
Row 2-4 : sc in each sts. (6)
yarn off and leave a long tail for sewing
Wings – make 2 (blue yarn)
Row 1 : MR6
Row 2-6 : sc in each sts. (6)
yarn off and leave a long tail for sewing
Body (blue yarn)
Row 1 : MR6
Row 2 : 2sc in each sts. (12)
Row 3 : [sc,inc] x 6 (18)
Row 4 : [2sc, inc] x 6 (24)
Row 5-15 :sc in each sts.
*Affix safety eyes to the white eyes patch and then fix them between row 6 & 7. Both safety eyes are approx 7 stitches apart.
*Fill up with toy stuffing..
Row 16 : [2sc, dec] x 6 (18)
Row 17 : [sc, dec] x 6 (12)
Row 18 : [dec] x 6
*Fill up with toy stuffing..
yarn off and leave a tail for sewing.
Assemble
* sew the belly to the body.
*sew the eyes patch covering a bit of the belly.
*attach the bill
*attach the wings and feet.
DONE! BRAVO!
Penguin with mermaid and Baby whale.
It is not difficult if you follow through slowly and once you get the hang of it, you can complete it within 1-2 hrs. Do give it a try!
