Drunken prawn recipes varies and some required the prawn to be marinated in alcohol prior to boiling or steaming, while others required the prawn to cook in soup and alcohol were added thereafter.
Today, I’m sharing with you my drunken prawn recipes that is simple and no marination is required – but you need LOTs of alcohol or cooking wine…Who is with me?
Let’s go!
But before that, let me introduce my partner in crime for this recipe…..
It’s my awesome Philips Pressure Cooker – HD2139 standing by the window…awaiting my next adventure! It was a gift from my beloved sister, perhaps about 3-4 years ago …..Thank you Ah Cheah!

I just love ’em sooooooooo much! One of the key reason I like to use Philips Pressure Cooker for Shallot Oil it’s the heat is so evenly spread and the shallot colour outcome is just wonderful…I can even step away to do other chores while they cook and they don’t burn easily. I won’t be able to achieve the same outcome using wok over gas stove.
