After creating the Totoro bride and groom, I felt like doing something couple items.  So, today,  I put together a Bunny couple key chain – sparkly blue and pink bunny.  They are easy to make and require few items only.

These bunny patterns can be enhanced according to your preference with added accessories like hat, flower and etc.  It is an easy project and suitable for in-between long project break.  They are also suitable to be added to security blanket as below.

Row 7-12 :sc in each sts.

start stuffing the head….

I used the above same pattern for Bunny Baby Security Blanket as below :

Security Blanket is using double crochet stitch measuring around 33cm. Security blanket is a familiar blanket or other piece of soft fabric held by a young child as a source of comfort.

Bunny pattern is as illustrated above.  Instead of using safety eyes, I stitch the sleeping eyes using black yarn.

Added a flower bow to cover the hanging neck.  Click on “flower bow” for the youtube tutorial.

Added a loop at the bottom of the bunny pattern and place the loop through the hole in the middle of the security blanket.

Sew a button at the bottom for the bunny loop to hook on.  Detach when you want to play with the baby.

Finish product of the bunny security blanket.
